Grown by heat.
Not painted on.
A solid titanium basket whose surface was grown by heat, not painted on. Every TitanFlow Ice Crystal basket goes through a vacuum sinter above 1,000°C that raises a frost-like crystal texture across the metal. Frost Silver stops there, as bare titanium; the other five finishes are anodized so the metal's own oxide layer throws the color. The crystals form differently every time, so no two baskets look exactly alike.
Underneath the finish is a working basket built around real numbers: an 18g dose, 1,528 fine holes across a convex bed, and dimensions measured on the part itself.
Why titanium?
Naturally corrosion-resistant
Titanium forms a stable oxide layer that helps protect the metal from corrosion.
Low thermal expansion
Titanium expands less with temperature changes than common 304 stainless steel.
Lightweight by nature
Titanium is less dense than 304 stainless steel, so the same volume of metal weighs less.

- Titanium all the way through — rim, wall and holes are one metal, with no coating over steel to wear away

- 1,528 holes at Ø0.18mm — open across the whole bed so water leaves the puck evenly, sized for normal espresso grinds
- Convex, ridgeless bed — holds a little more coffee than a flat basket of the same height, with no groove for grounds to collect in

Celadon
named for the pale green glaze of classic porcelain, shifting between green and teal as the light moves
Abyss Indigo
deep blue at the rim fading to pale crystal blue across the bed, like looking down into deep water
Imperial Violet
a vivid magenta-violet after the purple once reserved for emperors, scattered with silver flecks
Ochre Gold
bright gold across the bed deepening to olive gold at the rim, after one of the oldest pigments people ever made
Ember Rose
rose pink warming into copper toward the rim, the glow left in the coals once the flame has gone
On the five colored finishes the markings show as white — that is bare titanium where the color was lifted, the same metal all the way through.

Before you buy
Compatibility
Fits most standard 58mm portafilters, including the stock ones from La Marzocco, Rocket, Lelit, Profitec, ECM and Gaggia Classic, plus Breville's 58mm machines (Dual Boiler, Oracle). The 18g depth works in both spouted and bottomless portafilters. Not for 54mm Breville machines (Barista Express, Pro, Touch, Bambino). Because the basket is ridgeless, a soft portafilter spring can let it sit loose — a ridgeless-spec spring fixes that.

Dialing In & Care
Switching from a stock or pressurized basket? Give yourself a few shots to re-dial — most people end up grinding slightly finer. Knock the puck out against a bar rather than into open air. Rinse and wipe after use; long soaks in backflush powder, detergent or citric acid can shift the titanium's color.
