Creamore Ultra-Slim 0.5mm Puck Screen — 53.3mm / 58.5mm, AISI 304

A puck screen that doesn't eat into your headspace. Most contact screens are 0.8mm thick; this one is 0.5mm. In a tight basket that difference decides whether the portafilter locks in cleanly or presses the puck against the group. It is still stiff enough to keep its shape — unlike 0.2mm foils that crease and curl after a few weeks of handling.

Rest it on the tamped puck, then lock in. Water from the group hits the screen first and spreads across the whole coffee bed, and the grounds stay in the basket instead of ending up on your shower screen.

Compatibility

53.3mm — for 54mm Breville and Sage baskets: Barista Express (870, 876), Barista Pro (878), Barista Touch (880, 881), Bambino (450), Bambino Plus (500), Duo-Temp Pro (810) and Infuser (840). With an 18–21g dose in a 54mm basket, the thinner screen lets the portafilter lock in without pressing against the shower screen.

58.5mm — for standard 58mm baskets on E61-group machines such as Rocket, ECM, Profitec, Quick Mill, Bezzera, Lelit and Rancilio. Not suitable for La Marzocco, Gaggia, or any basket that needs a screen with a center hole.

How to Use

Dose and tamp as usual, lay the screen flat on the puck, then lock the portafilter in. Rinse it under running water after each shot, and soak it now and then in espresso machine cleaner to clear built-up coffee oils.
