Well make high extraction basket. Makes bigger difference than other variables factors such grinder speeds or type of burrs used.

For the clarity, this basket is more for the specialty inclined

Excellent high-flow precision basket for anyone looking to get more out of a 58mm espresso setup. I have been using all kind of baskets and I like the laser-cut holes here that produce clean and uniformly even extractions. I haven’t had any channeling so far but there again, paired with good puck preparation is key. The machining is impressive, with smooth edges and a quality finish throughout.

Keep in mind this isn’t a beginner’s basket. Because of the higher flow, you’ll almost certainly need to grind finer than you would with a standard basket.

A quality burr grinder, WDT tool, and puck screen will help you get there but again good prep makes it worth it. Once dialed in, the basket produces consistent, flavorful shots with excellent clarity. You fill enjoy these shots if you’re a clarity perfectionist.

It fits on all my 58mm portafilters perfectly and knocks out clean pucks after brewing.

But yeah, simply put this is for those of us who enjoy experimenting with espresso and want to squeeze a little more performance from our machines, this is a worthwhile for any and all setups but especially for the specialty inclined.
