Size

A convex-bottom basket, available in 54mm and 58mm.

The Arcflow Series™ uses a convex arc bottom rather than the flat bottom found on most baskets. The curvature is subtle by design — it holds slightly more coffee than a flat basket of the same height and runs a little slower at identical settings. Coming from a flat basket, expect to spend a few shots re-dialling your grind. We would rather set that expectation than have you think your first pull was a defect.

Built from durable AISI 304 stainless steel with a ridgeless body for easier cleaning and smoother puck release.

About the finish

The waterdrop surface texture and the swirl mark on the base are visual design details, not flow features. They are etched into the metal and do not change how water moves through the puck. We call this out plainly because it is a fair question to ask.

Choosing Your Size

  • 54mm — 18–22g dose, takes a 53.3mm tamper. For Breville® 54mm machines including Barista Express, Barista Pro, Barista Touch, Infuser and Duo-Temp Pro.
  • 58mm — 715 precision holes at 0.3mm, ridgeless. For most standard 58mm machines and portafilters.

Specifications

  • Series: Creamore Arcflow Series™
  • Sizes: 54mm / 58mm
  • Bottom Geometry: Convex arc
  • Hole Size: 0.3 mm
  • Body: Ridgeless
  • Material: AISI 304 Stainless Steel

Good to know

Ridgeless means there is no groove to trap grounds, but knock the puck out against a bar or knock box rather than into open air. If your portafilter spring is soft, the basket can sit loose — a ridgeless-spec spring fixes it.

Solid Build, High Capacity, and a Familiar Learning Curve

This 58 mm ARCFLOW ridgeless basket turned out to be a very nice upgrade for our Breville Oracle Touch (circa 2016), especially since we’ve spent years experimenting with baskets, doses, and the machine’s quirks. As the listing highlights, the basket incorporates several design elements--the swirl base, waterdrop surface, and ridgeless walls. And each plays a small but noticeable role in daily use. The ridgeless design allows the basket to friction-fit into the portafilter rather than lock in. Some baristas prefer the ridge as a dosing reference, but for home users, the smooth wall can aide in puck removal and keeps the workflow simple.

As for the swirl base, I couldn’t detect a functional difference. The hole pattern looks very similar to our other baskets, and in practice the extraction behaved like any well-machined precision basket. The ARCFLOW weighed in just under 36 grams, compared to 28 grams for the Breville OEM basket. This is a nice bump in sturdiness without feeling bulky.

The curved waterdrop bottom does make a difference during extraction and you'll notice it with bottomless portafilters.

Our Oracle Touch journey has been long and full of trial-and-error. Even though it’s a semi‑automatic machine, dialing in espresso became a full-time hobby. The biggest breakthrough came when we abandoned the Breville 18 g basket and switched to a VST 15 g precision basket; suddenly everything clicked. The Breville OEM 18 g basket famously produces a 22 g puck — a Breville “feature” we learned to work around. The Breville dose is managed with a built-in tamper that senses pressure as it spins. As such, the user doesn't really have control over the dosing unless you break out tools and adjust the tamper fan.

This ARCFLOW basket is also rated at 18 g, which means adjusting the grind again to suit the higher capacity. It takes time to dial in, but ultimately comes down to drinker preference and how much flexibility you want in your dose range.

The biggest take away is that it is NOT a drop-in replacement for a pressurized basket. If you are switching to this basket from a pressurized one, then prepare to have a new full-time hobby, at least for a little while.

For the price, this ARCFLOW basket offers a strong value proposition. It’s well made, fits the Oracle Touch without issue, and encourages experimentation. If you enjoy tinkering with your espresso setup and appreciate a sturdier, ridgeless design, this basket is an upgrade worth considering.

Delivers Consistent Results After Dialing In, Quality Construction but a Learning Curve

Originally posted on Amazon. Amazon Vine review of a free product.
Variant reviewed: Capacity: 18 grams · Size: 58mm

✅ Key Insights and Honest Takeaways
The Creamore ARCFLOW basket performed well once I had it dialed in, and the manufacturer is very clear that this is not intended as a drop-in replacement for a pressurized basket. As expected, changing baskets required adjusting my grind and extraction, but once I found the right settings, it produced consistent results. The stainless steel construction feels well made, fits my Breville Oracle Touch portafilter properly, and the side markings make it easy to identify when swapping between baskets.

⚡ Quick Overview
• 58 mm espresso basket (also available in 54 mm)
• AISI 304 stainless steel construction
• Rated 18 g capacity
• Convex arc bottom design
• Side markings identify the basket size and model
• Compatible with my Breville Oracle Touch portafilter

🛠️ Build and Quality
The stainless steel has a solid feel with a clean, well-finished surface. The basket fits securely in the portafilter without any issues, and the etched markings on the side are a thoughtful touch for anyone who rotates between multiple baskets. Overall machining appears clean, and the basket feels comparable to other quality aftermarket options.

🔍 Real-World Use
Like most precision baskets, this required dialing in my grinder after installation. That wasn’t surprising, especially since the manufacturer specifically notes that it is not a direct replacement for a pressurized basket. Once adjusted, extraction was consistent and the basket performed as expected. I did notice some variation from shot to shot, but I attribute most of that to the Breville Oracle Touch’s built-in grinder rather than the basket itself.

One area that left me a little uncertain is the advertised swirl base design. Visually, the swirl appears to be part of the pattern on the bottom, while the filter holes themselves still look arranged much like a traditional basket. I wasn’t entirely clear on what practical difference the swirl design is intended to provide.

⭐ What Works Well
• Fits my Breville Oracle Touch portafilter without modification
• Quality AISI 304 stainless steel construction
• Side markings make basket identification easy
• Produces good extractions once properly dialed in
• Manufacturer clearly explains that dialing in is required
• Reasonable capacity for an 18 g dose

⚠️ Things to Consider
• Requires grinder adjustments and dialing in after installation
• Not intended as a direct replacement for pressurized baskets
• The advertised swirl base concept isn’t clearly explained by the visible hole pattern
• New users may experience a learning curve before achieving consistent shots

⚖️ Overall Value
This feels like a strong value for a quality stainless steel precision basket. The fit, finish, and performance all meet expectations, and the reasonable price point makes it an attractive upgrade. As long as you’re prepared to spend some time dialing in your grind after switching baskets, it delivers the performance you’d expect from this style of espresso basket.

📍 Final Thoughts
This is a well-made espresso basket that performs exactly as I expected once properly dialed in. The fit is excellent, the construction is solid, and the side markings are a useful feature for anyone who changes baskets regularly. While the claimed swirl base design wasn’t entirely clear to me in practice, the basket itself functions well and offers a good balance of quality, usability, and value.

Great Quality Basket but Loose Fit in Portafilters

Originally posted on Amazon. Amazon Vine review of a free product.

I use this very nice convex bottom basket with my Breville Bambino machine. It is high quality and makes it easy to dial in my shots with repeatable, consistent results. The thickness feels great, and it is magnet friendly for my dosing funnels, which is a nice bonus. I really like the overall quality and craftsmanship.

My only issue with this basket is that it fits loosely in my portafilters. I have tried it with both my high end portafilters and my other bottomless ones, and in every case, when I knock out the puck, the basket drops out with it. It has even gotten stuck in the group head a few times. It is a great basket in terms of performance, but the loose fit can be frustrating during workflow.

It's a nice basket, but it's BARELY convex.

I grabbed this basket with expectation of it being convex, and what I received is a REALLY well made and nice basket, BUT, I would not consider this a "convex" basket in the traditional sense.

The good. - This basket is more or less as well made as my baskets from Normcore and VST. The holes on my unit are all milled straight and precise, with no burrs, missed holes, or wierd shapes. The holes are on the larger side at 0.3mm, so expect to grind a bit coarser. That can be a very good thing, depending on what you look for in your espresso! Overall, it's a very well made basket.

The basket is a ridgeless design, so on certain portafilters it may have a slightly more difficult time staying in, but it should fit 99% of 58mm portafilters perfectly, and ridgeless baskets retain less coffee after knocking the puck out, so I personally love this.

The branding looks good, the swirl on the bottom of the portafilter is a cool touch, and it includes an etched serial number on it, which is interesting, I wouldn't have expected unique serial numbers on portafilters at this price range, not that it means much I guess...

The meh - The "ArcFlow" geometry of this basket behaves nearly identically to a regular flat basket. I'm just not convinced that the subtle convex bottom changes cup character meaningfully.

That said, I love the idea of experimenting with espresso basket geometry, and I think this basket is a valid experiment, even though the effects aren't incredibly noticeable. It's different, and there's value to that for the right person.

So, if you're someone that just loves expirementing with basket geometry like me, why not pick this one up? It's well made, affordable, and unique.

Great basket. Only have one other that is comparable.

This is my favorite product I have reviewed in a while. Strange that I am still finding good filter baskets at this point, but this one is very good. I was using a nice Ikape filter basket and I have no problems with it, but it is a screen type and this one is much easier to clean. The consistency of shot is outstanding and the fit is perfect for my 58mm machine. It doesn't leak and it isn't too tall for my bottomless protafilter. The coffee taste is mild with a bit of chocolate, that might be a few fines getting through, but I haven't seen anything left over so it is likely just very fine grounds. I dropped it a couple times and it didn't get damaged. This is a solid basket for the money. I get tired of the overly expensive underperforming espresso products and this is a great example of a quality product with a good price tag. It is easy to use and fits very well.

It's perfect for bottomless portafilters

We need this to make shots with our 58 mm portafilter and this definitely works for that. That doesn't design of it is good for people that want to be able to see the extraction come out the bottom so if you have a mirror at the bottom is a pro tip you could use so you don't have to bend over every time you pull a shot
