The container is quite spacious and sturdy. The vacuum is created by pressing the button to pump out the air. You can see the membrane being pulled down, which shows that the air has been removed

Seems to work very well so far. Only takes about 5 pumps to seal. I'm using ur with coffee beans so I check it every day or 2 to seal again due to the beans releasing CO2, but when it was empty and sealed it stayed for the 5 days I tested it

This container is truly air tight, and has been perfect for keeping my beans fresh. I always hate keeping fresh local beans in the paper bag they sell them in, as the metal clip never truly keeps the air out. I know this container is working as I can pick it up from the lid and swing it around and the lid will not break-free from the container filled with beans! It is easy to seal with a few presses of the large center button. It even has a bubble that sucks in to show you the air has been removed!

This is what I was looking for I had a different canister where you have two separate lids and you got to push them down and this is nice it's just one lid and you just pump the button and it sucks out all the extra air so you know it's going to stay fresh so it's easy to use and just the right size for a bag of coffee and it looks nice on the counter

This container is the perfect size to hold an entire new bag of loose leaf tea 70 cup size. The cap makes a good seal, and with just a few presses of the center button I am able to remove all teh air from the container. The lid is unable to be removed unless you press the air release button, so I know it is airtight! My tea tastes so much better than keeping it in a resealable plastic bag like i used to. Going to buy another one of these for my other tea variety!

I actually really like this coffee canister. My primary coffee storage is an automatic vacuum-sealing container, so I wasn’t sure how I’d feel going back to a manual system. Surprisingly, it’s worked out really well.
I mainly use this as an overflow container whenever I open a larger bag of coffee beans that won’t completely fit into my primary container. Instead of leaving the remaining beans in the bag, I transfer them into this canister to help preserve their freshness.
Using the manual vacuum system is straightforward. It does take a little time—roughly 30 seconds of pumping to remove enough air—but it’s not difficult. If you’re in a hurry, it feels a little slower than an automatic vacuum canister, but for occasional use it really isn’t a big deal.
One feature I really appreciate is the vacuum indicator. It gives you a visual confirmation that enough air has been removed, so you’re not left wondering whether you’ve created a proper seal. It’s a simple feature, but one that makes the canister much easier to trust.
The overall build quality is also quite good. It feels solid, seals well, and has a clean, modern appearance that looks nice sitting on the countertop.
Considering the price, I think it’s an excellent value. It does exactly what it’s advertised to do, keeps my extra coffee beans stored properly, and has worked flawlessly so far.
For those reasons, I’m giving it 5 out of 5 stars. If you’re looking for an affordable vacuum coffee canister, whether as your primary storage or an overflow container like I use it for, I think you’ll be very happy with it.
