I bought this to replace the original steam tip on my Breville, and it worked better than I expected. Installation was quick, and it fit perfectly with no issues. The steam feels more even, and I’ve noticed it’s easier to make smooth microfoam for lattes. The stainless steel finish looks well made, and it seems durable. For the price, it’s a nice upgrade if your old tip is worn out or you just want better milk frothing. I’m happy with this purchase.

I didn’t even realize the tip of my steam wand was removable until I saw this listing, let alone that there were specialty tips for it. I struggle with getting good microfoam, so I had to order it.
The tip that comes with my machine (I have a Breville Express) has 1 hole. This tip has 3 holes.
I used my little plastic wrench to remove my tip and I twisted on this tip (of note, I won’t be able to use that plastic wrench to either tighten or remove this one; I’ll just have to do it by hand). Then I made my first latte. Did it make a difference?
YES!
Just know that I am not someone who can do latte art, but I still want the taste. Well, my first cup frothed differently than it does with the previous tip, but it was more a matter of needing to be positioned differently. I can’t really explain it, other than to say that I thought it was giving too many bubbles, but then when I moved it, it was perfect. So, placement was different.
I got better microfoam with this than I have ever had with my single-hole tip. Great!
Purging the steam took a little longer though. That might be because I waited longer (since I was doing the review).
